The Food Pantry had long since operated within St. Anne's Episcopal Church long before the vision of a permanent building was completed. In 2012, a new structure was built on the grounds of St. Anne's Church. To accommodate the ever growing needs of our community, the refrigeration capability was upgraded in 2016. In 2017, to better meet the needs of servicing our clients, the Food Pantry began the addition of an enclosure to accommodate a new, much larger freezer/cooler, space for fresh produce and a private consultation area.
What does the DPCO food pantry do?The food pantry's program was created to fill a need in helping to care for De Pere residents, who as a result of their low incomes are unable to purchase enough food for their families. This program is specifically targeted towards those who are most in need in our community.
Are you in need of assistance?Acceptance into this program is based on demonstrated financial need. Any person/family whose income can be certified by TEFAP (The Emergency Family Assistance Program) through a personal interview verification process is eligible for DPCO Food Pantry Assistance.
